Peyton Manning a sus 33 años acaba de perder el segundo Super Bowl en el que ha participado y muchos ya especulan que va a pasar con el futuro de Manning... es cierto que es de los mejores QBs de la historia, es mas hay quienes lo consideran el mejor, pero lo que tambien es cierto es que ya esta llegando a la edad de maduración de un QB... si bien Favre, Warner y Garcia han llegado a jugar hasta los 38, 39 y 40; lo que si es cierto es que los Colts ya deben ir considerando un posible reemplazo para el gran hueco que les va a dejar Peyton... y no lo digo yo, lo dicen los expertos de ESPN... aqui les dejo la foto:

Poncho Cinco

Ok, me tarde un poco en ponerlo pero la verdad ni enterado estaba... digo, despues de todo, quien ve los juegos de Detroit??? pues hace una semana Chad Ocho Cinco, quien se autonombra "the Black Mexican" despues de anotar un touchdown celebro usando un poncho y un sombrero de charro... es mas bien un zarape pero los nacos gringos le dicen poncho, sobre todo porque queda mejor pa el Poncho Cinco... chequen el video

Un hocho a medio juego

Mark Sanchez salio hambriento en el juego contra los Raiders y como ya iban ganando por mucho y los iban blanqueando, no la penso 2 veces y se echo su buen Hot Dog en el sideline... hasta tiempo para ponerle mostaza tuvo!!!

Ocho Cinco para el Iphone

Uno de los jugadores de NFL mas inteligentes en cuanto a lo mercadeable, es Chad Ocho Cinco, antes conocido como Chad Johnson, y es que Ocho, se ha hecho famoso mundialmente primero por el cambio de nombre que se hizo y las declaraciones que hace de sus adversarios antes de cada juego... ademas el ahora dice que su nombre no es Chad sino Esteban y se hace identificar como el Black Mexican...

Pues ahora, ya hasta sacó una aplicación del Iphone de Ocho Cinco, la cual en mi opinión es totalmente inútil, sin embargo, la aplicación ha tenido un nivel increible de descargas y aunque cuesta 4.99 en la itunes store, las criticas son bastante buenas, de un programa que lo único que hace es mostrarte en donde esta Ocho Cinco, enseñarte fotos y videos de Ocho Cinco y conectarte al Twitter de Ocho para ver que babosada esta poniendo al momento...

Owen Schmitt el Idiota

Hasta el dia de hoy casi nadie conocia a Owen Schmitt y ahora lo conocen como el inutil que hizo la mejor imitacion de Gus Frerotte... en el juego de Seattle contra Jacksonville Schmitt brincó a la cancha al inicio del juego dandose de golpes con su casco en la frente... el baboso se abrió la frente y necesitó puntadas... increíble...

Los numeros mas raros de la NFL

ESPN the Magazine saco un estudio de cuales son los números mas raros o menos usados en la NFL y por sorpresa, existe uno que solamente UN jugador tiene en toda la liga, este número es el 49 y el jugador es Tony Richardson actual Fullback de los New York Jets, Richardson ha jugado con los Dallas Cowboys, los Kansas City Chiefs (donde bloqueo para Priest Holmes y Larry Johnson) después estuvo en Minnesota (donde ayudó en grande con el desarrollo de Adrian Peterson) y a partir del año pasado esta con los Jets. La lista incluye otros números portados por pocos jugadores... aqui se las dejo:

La semana pasada empezó la pretemporada de NFL y el encargado de hacer los jerseys de los Washington Redskins al parecer confundió a Ladell Betts, el segundo corredor del equipo con Jerome Bettis, ex corredor de los steelers... Increible...

New Team Names

Just posted this on our NFL blog, and thought it was lankuriosidad worth also:

I Just saw a fun forum on the net where people were saying, if you were to open an NFL expansion team, which city would you put it in and what name would you choose. The idea actually came from a dude playing madden and wanting new ideas for his imaginary team.
You could use existing teams and change their names or you could just come up with new ones, the fun part about it was that the name should have sense with some of the city's history. Some were funny, some were interesting, some were cool, some were a little offensive for my taste, but an interesting idea however...

Here are some examples I found:

- Miami Vice
- Oregon Wave
- Portland Prowlers
- Hawaii Waves
- Alaska Polar Bears
- Los Angeles Skyscrapers

Some of the could be offensive ones:
- Las Vegas Hookers
- Oklahoma City Bombers
- New York Flying Jets
- New Orleans Hurricanes


If I had word on a new expansion team I would really love it if it was outside the US, I know its the NATIONAL Football League... but its fun to think about it... maybe the London Royalty or the Mexico Aztecs or something like that...

Fan Predictions

I was amazed when I took this poll on nfl.com and when I saw the results I thought, this has to go on lankuriosidad... I thought the results were going to be like 68 pats 32 giants or something like that maybe a little bit tighter... but after 125672 voters, the answer is 50-50 that is pretty amazing, considering the spread on vegas opened on Giants +14........

The giants might have a better chance than we thought...

Super Bowl XLII

The cheeseheads have been crushed by the Giants.

As many of you already know I did a really good prediction for this past weekend's playoffs, just to remind some of you of one of them, I posted that the New York Giants, will win the game because they have gained a lot of momentum and they are already being called this years steelers, my prediction was 27-24 Giants win in OT actual score: 23-20 Giants win in OT, so, you could say I was pretty close...

With the super bowl, I see that this momentum is going to affect as well, but this time I think its going to be like the Jags-Pats game, its going to be tight at first, maybe 17-14 in favor of giants, going into halftime, but in the end, at the second half the pats are going to get back up like they did most of the season and com back to win it 34-29 when the giants score their last td, go for 2 points and dont make it, then fail to recover the onside kick...

lets see if im right this time, but I do think this will be the last Patriot Victory to get them to 19-0.
