27 Reasons to Celebrate

As many of you know, next week is the birthday of one of Monterrey's most famous personalities, the legendary C. G. B. Some of you will recognize him from the picture and some of you wont...

This time around he celebrates his 27th birthday and has asked a favor from Lankuriosidad, which we will sure grant him...

I have opened a new poll (left) where I ask you vote, so that the host can decide which restaurant will be the best place to celebrate this years birthday bash with his friends and hopefully try to BREAK last years record. (though task considering Rukini wont be attending)

Summer Blockbusters 2008

Here I post a brief summary of the Blockbuster movies coming this summer, all of them from the LK poll... click on the images to get more info on the Movie.






Speed Racer

Plot Synopsis: Based on the 1960s animated cartoon about a race car driver as he tries to obtain glory with the help of his family and the Mach 5, a car created by his father.






The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
Cast: Liam Neeson, Tilda Swinton, Warwick Davis, Eddie Izzard, Ben Barnes
Plot Synopsis: The Pevensie siblings return to Narnia, where they are enlisted to once again help ward off an evil king and restore the rightful heir to the land's throne, Prince Caspian.








Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Cast: Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett, Shia LeBouf,
Plot Synopsis: No official details about the premise of this 4th Indy Movie have been announced yet, except that it will no doubt involve the daring archaeologist searching for a lost object of human history, getting in trouble in the process.








The Happening
Cast: Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel, John Leguizamo
Plot Synopsis: A paranoid thriller about a family on the run from a natural crisis that presents a large-scale threat to humanity.










The Incredible Hulk
Cast: Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, Robert Downey Jr.
Plot Synopsis: Physicist Bruce Banner takes flight in order to understand -- and hopefully cure -- the condition that turns him into a monster.







The Love Guru
Cast: Mike Myers, Jessica Alba, Jessica Simpson, Ben Kingsley
Plot Synopsis: Pitka after being raised by gurus, returns to the States in order to break into the self-help business. His first challenge: To settle the romantic troubles and subsequent professional skid of a star hockey player whose wife left him for a rival athlete.

Plot Synopsis: A Mossad agent fakes his death so he can re-emerge in New York City as a hair stylist.

Tropic Thunder

Step Brothers

Kung Fu Panda

Plot Synopsis: When Tony Stark is forced to create a life support suit to keep him alive after an accident he decides to use the technology in his suit to fight crime.

Future President

There has been no clear cut winner yet, for the next elections, David Palmer for a while had the lead, nom Mccain is the favorite, we know for a fact that palmer cannot win, so probably it will be between Mccain and Obama, Clinton has been dragged of off the poll by now... its gonna be an interesting race, lets see who wins... at least in the LK poll...

Fan Predictions

I was amazed when I took this poll on nfl.com and when I saw the results I thought, this has to go on lankuriosidad... I thought the results were going to be like 68 pats 32 giants or something like that maybe a little bit tighter... but after 125672 voters, the answer is 50-50 that is pretty amazing, considering the spread on vegas opened on Giants +14........

The giants might have a better chance than we thought...
